Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric, Ginger, Honey and Mustard Vinaigrette

Pictured above with a Kale, Lentil, and Sweet Potato Salad - it is a cheap homemade salad dressing that can go on just about anything!

This easy healthy vinaigrette is an essential ingredient in my house. It is a great addition to any salad and is very nutritious! It can be made in a heartbeat as well using kitchen staples.

It can be enjoyed in place of the dressings from this Vegan Walnut, Pear and Avocado Salad (pictured below) or this Apple, Walnut, Spinach and Feta Salad

 

 




Dietary Requirements:

This dressing in a typical serving is Low FODMAP.
It is naturally suitable for those with a lactose intolerance, and who are gluten free.
It's also nightshade free, and suitable for those following a pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan diet.

Anti-Inflammatory Turmeric, Ginger, Honey and Mustard Vinaigrette

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cooking Time: nil

Serves: 6

A healthy and vital addition to any salad!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of turmeric
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 2 tsp of wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tsp of grated or minced ginger
  • generous pinch of salt and pepper

Method

Step 1:
Simply add all ingredients into a small bowl, and whisk until combined!

Alternatively if you have a small jar, use that and shake the ingredients together 🙂
